Absolutely gorgeous finale to my favorite Star Trek film (and score), played on piano by yours truly. I did chop off the ending a la the main title, since I didn't want to bore you guys by playing a lot of the same stuff for an additional three minutes at the end. I also kept a few mistakes in here to keep it a little more authentic, though I did edit in a few "do-overs" as I typically do. And my keyboard doesn't have 88 keys, so I had to drop a few bits an octave lower after the fact. Anyway, this was recorded in REAPER with the Steinway patch that comes with the Finale 2008 version of Garritan Personal Orchestra. Now with new and improved reverb! Should sound a little clearer than my last few videos. Sadly, no sheet music for this one, as is usually the case. I do welcome constructive criticism, however! Also, yes, I'm a bad person. I still don't have a video camera, but I used a photo of me playing as the background image so that more people would see the thumbnail and realize this is a piano arrangement. More views! Yay!
